Why we need Gavin Newsom

So I've tweeted about Gavin Newsom doing good since the creation of DemFirst, and I think that he is our future, and if you are a real democrat, you will do nothing but support, donate, volunteer for Gavin Newsom, and don't worry I will go over what he has accomplished and why I think he is the perfect candidate.

First off, look at all of the economic change California has gone through in a positive way. The state averaged a remarkable 7.5% annual nominal GDP growth over the time he has been in office. The GDP is the 4th highest in the world. If you are a center-right republican, an economic republican, any sort of mainstream republican, you would vote for Gavin Newsom, maybe because you realized the GOP and republican party haven't done anything for you, maybe because you are actually reading and being an intelligent voter using your vote for what benefits you. Or maybe, you just dont want to vote for This total product of the system JD Vance who has changed his name 3 times, switches his views constanly, and whos whole political carrer has been fabricated by one of the biggest contracters to massad "Peter Thiel" It's as simple as this, if your main concern is economic growth, look at the facts, numbers, and statistics, you will vote for Gavin Newsom.

His recent surge in population should have you confident in his ability to get people riled up, get democrats excited, which, if we are being honest, we haven't felt since Obama 2016. 75% of respondents said they felt excited by the prospect of a Newsom presidential run (Politico), which is an insane statistic considering it's so early. Already leading polls by at least 20% according to Political Polls on X ahead of AOC. His social media strategy has paid off his GovPressOffice account on X surged by 450% in followers, while TikTok and Instagram have gained 1 million new followers since January You can clearly see he knows how to get people to like him, objectively handsome, charismatic, beautiful family, he is a great person to look up to and admire. He raised over 6 million dollars for his redistricting efforts as of the time of writing this post. Very, Very promising.

California under Newsom has added over 3 million new jobs since 2019, bouncing back from the pandemic downturn faster than most states (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics).

The unemployment rate fell from 16.1% in April 2020 to around 5.1% in mid-2025, showing us how truly effective he is with the job market, and this is why i say most slight leaning republicans will vote for him because slight leaning republicans are smart, they just are, and they will not make the mistake again for voting for another lying, none promise filling, Republican canidate

His administration has also funded 15.3 billion toward homelessness and housing initiatives, the largest investment in California history, building thousands of new supportive housing units. We see all of this Trump Takeover of DC, THAT DOESN'T WORK. Newsome knows how to fix homelessness, how to fix crime, in the statistics, he knows how to fix this huge problem the US faces.

California now accounts for nearly 50% of all U.S. electric vehicle sales, reflecting policies like rebates, infrastructure investment, and the 2035 zero emission target. The state has invested over $54 billion in climate programs, the largest climate package in U.S. history. He has attended countless summits where he is praised for his action on saving the world.

Please understand that this is a condensed version of only some of the things he has done.
